Join us for an exciting 3-day trip to Terelj National Park, where you’ll enjoy 2 full days of rock climbing in beautiful surroundings. From June to late September, Terelj is a top destination for climbers of all levels. You’ll experience top roping, lead climbing, and multipitch climbs, with options ranging from easy to moderate (5.8 – 5.10-), all well protected with bolts. Our experienced guides will prioritize your safety. We will set up our tented camp right at the base of the rock wall, and on the second night, you’ll relax in a cozy ger camp.
Head to Terelj national park: first day of rock climbing
2 hours of drive lead to Terelj National Park, you will have the opportunity to enjoy 1 hour of morning hike till Aryaval Temple, a meditation temple nestled at the foothills of the majestic granite mountains.
Then we will ariive at our first climing rock, a rock wall of 20 meters high. After 30 minutes of warm-up, we’ll start on the training rock wall, which is rated 5.8 grade. At noon, a delicious lunch will be served to recharge our energy. Afterward, we’ll tackle climbing routes rated 5.9 and 5.10.

Let’s make it a bit harder
After breakfast at our campsite, we will head to a rock wall called ‘Yamaat,’ which is suitable for more challenging climbing. This will be a multi-pitch climb with a total length of 600 meters. We will establish 12 stations along the route. The total time spent climbing and descending is expected to be around 7 to 8 hours.
Along the way, we will stop at Turtle Rock before heading to Aryaval Temple, a meditation temple nestled at the foothills of a granite mountain. We will hike for about an hour there.

Drive back to UB: explore Chinggis khan’s giant statue
In the morning, take a 1-hour drive to visit the impressive 40-meter-high equestrian statue of Chinggis Khan. Afterward, explore the statue and ascend to the observation platform for panoramic views. Then, head directly to Ulaanbaatar. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.
