Tour description :

Join us on a two-week adventure to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Mongolia. You’ll trek through two distinct environments: the Khogno Tarna Natural Reserve, where the Khangai and Khentii mountain ranges meet the northern extension of the Gobi Desert at the heart of Mongolia. In this stunning park, we will visit the Uvgun Monastery, nestled among granite hills shaped by erosion from wind and rain.
The second part of the trek will take place in the vibrant Orkhon Valley, renowned for its eight beautiful lakes. As we venture off the beaten path across sandy dunes, steppes, mountains, forests, basalt rock formations, and finally the lakes, you’ll immerse yourself in Mongolia’s wide-open spaces that evoke a profound sense of peace.
To connect more deeply with the nomadic way of life, we’ll spend two nights in yurts (gers) with a local family. We ensure a comfortable experience by striking a balance between camping and staying in gers.

Arrival in UB and city tour

Upon your arrival in Ulaanbaatar, our local staffs (drivers and guide) will pick you up at the international airport of Chinggis khan. You will be transferred to a centrally located three-star hotel.
At noon, you will be escorted for a guided city tour that highlights the city’s most notable attractions, impressive National History Museum, Sukhbaatar Square and the Parliament building.
As the evening approaches, at 6:00 PM, experience a traditional Mongolian show at Tumen Ekh ensemble, featuring folk dances, contortion, and khoomii, the unique throat singing, followed by a welcome dinner.
